How the Price Beat Guarantee works
Got a written quote from another printer? Send it through and we'll do our best to beat it on bulk orders. The discount is at our discretion, case by case.
What the guarantee is
If you've got a written quote from another Australian printer for the same garments, same artwork, same print method, send it through and we'll review it.
We don't promise a fixed percentage off — every job's cost structure is different, and the right discount depends on the garments, the print, the quantity, and where the competitor's quote sits relative to our underlying costs. What we do promise is that we'll take your competitor quote seriously, and where we can win the job at a price that works for both sides, we will.
In practice we beat the quote on most genuine like-for-like comparisons. A handful we can't — usually when the competing quote is significantly below market or includes something we can't match (an in-house brand, an offshore printer's shipping subsidy, a printer cutting corners on quality).
The Price Beat Guarantee is for bulk orders — typically 25 garments and up. Single-garment and small-quantity prints are already at our standard published rates.
What counts as "like-for-like"
To match a quote, four things need to line up:
- Same garment — same brand, same style code, same colour, same size mix. An AS Colour Staple Tee 5001 in black, M to XL, isn't the same as a Gildan Heavy Cotton in black, M to XL.
- Same print method — DTF compared to DTF, screen compared to screen, DTG compared to DTG. You can't compare a DTF quote to a sublimation quote.
- Same artwork — same print locations, same print size, same number of colours.
- Same delivery terms — standard turnaround compared to standard turnaround. A rushed quote with same-day delivery isn't comparable to a standard 2–3 day turnaround.
If those four things match, you're in. We'll come back with our best price.
What doesn't qualify
A few things don't count:
- Verbal quotes or chat-message rough estimates. The quote needs to be written, dated, and on the competitor's letterhead, email signature, or quoting system.
- Stale quotes. We'll honour quotes dated within the last 30 days. Beyond that, garment and material prices may have moved.
- Quotes from overseas printers. The guarantee covers Australian printers — we can't match overseas pricing that ships internationally with different cost structures.
- Quotes from auction-style "race to the bottom" marketplaces where the price isn't a real cost to fulfil.
- Quotes that don't itemise the garment and print separately. We need to see what's included.
How to claim it
Send the written quote through with your order enquiry. Email it, attach it in the order notes, or send it directly to our team — we'll review it and come back with a matched (or beaten) price before the order is processed.
Once you accept the matched price, it gets locked into your order. You don't need to do anything else.
If you've already paid the standard price and then find a competitor quote afterwards, we won't backdate. The guarantee applies before the order is placed.
Why we offer it
We're confident in our print quality, our turnaround, and our service. The guarantee is there because we don't expect customers to take our word that we're competitive — we'd rather you check, and where we can win on price as well, we will.
Most Price Beat claims come from larger orders — corporate uniforms, school cohorts, club kits. Those are the orders we want.
